  Dr. Garbowit was my endo for over 20 years. In that time, he has cared for me during my high-risk pregnancy, guided me in the management of two insulin pumps and has generally been an excellent physician. He always takes time during visits to hear all concerns and is eager to discuss any new developments in Type 1 management. The special thing about Dr. G is his compassion and warm demeanor. When I developed a problem with an insulin I was using, he listened to my experience and did his own research to find a solution, even though he had not encountered my circumstances before. After my cesarean birth, he visited me often and was my advocate. He is one of the best doctors I have ever had. I will miss him terribly. Moved out of state.
